Seeking Advice - Baby Has Not Rolled Over

I have a 7 1/2 mo. old girl and she has not rolled over yet. I'm a bit concerned in the fact that alot of babies have rolled over by now. She has not rolled over once on her own from back to front or front to back. Does anyone have any advice/suggestions on what I can do to help her? I've tried tummy time but she always hates it and would get so frustrated that I end up picking her up because she would bury her face in the blanket. Any suggestions you have or did with your baby would be helpful. Thanks a bunch!

Advice on Having a Baby W/o Insurance

My husband and I are talking about having another child. There are a couple if issues. Starting over would be difficult, but could be managed. We don't have health insurance like we did the first time. And, I'll be 38 in December. It's kind of a now or never feeling. The first time around we had excellent insurance which translated to excellent care. Can anyone tell me how to do it without insurance? I've read adds from Healthy Start saying "pregnant? we can help" But I kind of feel like that is for the younger low income women who are...

Am I Spoiling My Baby??

I am a first time mom to a beautiful 5 week old daughter. My husband and I were told by our pediatrician that we should let her cry so we don't spoil her. I was always taught that when a newborn cries that you should tend to them because they are crying for a reason and not for attention. She does like to be held when she sleeps and tends to wake up after putting her down for 10-20 minutes during the day but she sleeps fairly well (well for a 5 week old) at night. Her GI track is still adjusting - she has bouts of 24-36 hours of...

Skinny Baby Underweight?

My son is 9 weeks and about 9 pounds/23 inches. That is right about at the very bottom of the infant weight curve (5th percentile) if not below. He was born 7 pounds 10 oz. He lost some weight right after birth of course and has gained very slowly since. He is long and there is no chubbiness to fill him out. He is gaining at least 1/2 an ounce per day (the minimum I read) but I am highly concerned. I am a small person and was a small baby according to my mother-not sure exactly what that means. The father is a medium build. We are...
