I am having a diaper dilemma! My son is over 2 now, and he's been wearing the regular Huggies diapers since he was a baby. Using a Potty Chair or Not To?

My daughter is 18 months old. I want to start potty training her but I want to know if other moms have had better luck using the potty chair or getting one of those seats for the big potty and going straight to that? I used the potty chair for my son and well he wasnt fully trained till 3 1/2 so I dont know if it was him being a slow trainer or because i used a potty chair.
