Need Help Fast...2 Yr Old Holding in Poop

She has issues with constpation and is on miralax everyday. Long story short we stoped giving it for a couple days and now she is backed up and hasn't pooped for days. She says she has to go but refuses to sit on the potty and will stand and clinch her butt cheeks. So I offered to put a pamper on her and she still clinched. I started the miralax up again 2 days ago and have tried warm baths but she will not let it out. The pharmacy told us to try pedialax but we have the fruit punch kind and it has to go in 6 oz of liquid and she can taste...

Miralax for My 23 Month Old?

My son who will be 2 friday has had belly pain for several weeks. The dr ran some tests they all came back normal. The x-ray showed some mild "back up" in the bowels which I thought was odd since he pooped 4 times before the xray that morning. The biggest problem is he poops 4+ times a day and it ranges from hard balls (usually those are about every other day) to peanut butter texture to watery with some chunks in it. Infant with Constipation

Hello. My little boy is almost 11 months and has always been irregular when it came to his dirty diapers, but now it down right hurts (both him and me). He has recently been straining so hard (to produce not so much) that he cries and cries. He even got a little hemmeroid. We are giving him pear and apple juices and feeding him prunes, and have even given a few suppositories but we hope his little body will soon regulate everything. Is there any advice on foods to give or remedies anyone else has had with this problem? Thanks in advance.

Miralax "Clean Out"

My son is VERY constipated and the dr said we had to do a "clean out" as he called it. We had to do Miralax 4x today, 4x tomorrow, then monitor from there. My question is when will it start to work? He hardly had anything today and I want this to get started (so we can get it done!). Any thoughts? I'm calling the dr on Friday if I'm not seeing enough "results" by then.

Constipation Remedies During Pregnancy

I just found out I'm pregnant and already dealing with one "discomfort" of my last pregnancy...constipation. Can anyone give me suggestions as to "safe" options to get this under control. I will be discussing it with my Dr., but I don't see her for my 1st appt. until mid-May. Thanks!! :o)
