Thinking About Weaning

I am thinking of weaning my 12 month old daughter. I don't really mind that she is still nursing but it is embarassing when we are in public and she pulls on my shirt. Also, I feel bad when friends and family say, "You're not still nursing, are you?" When do I know when is the right time? Should I wait for her to stop on her own or stop when I feel ready? Unmotivated 16 Year Old

My 16 year old daughter is very smart, but is very unmotivated to complete her school work, therefor seems to be running a C average in almost everything. I speak to her teachers who say she 'drifts off' in class. She often gets zeros for homework she 'does not feel like doing'. My 15 month old is a ver picky eater. There are certain things she likes, and anything new i put in front of her she either just smashes it or throws it on the floor.
