Hi, where are you? We go to Dave Rabb Fitness in Culver City. My 5 year old has been going for a few years, and he loves it.
I'm also looking for some other resources, so I'm interested in the replies!
Hi,
I'm in the same city as you and we do classes through the Park & Rec. Also, a local artist, Kristin Moro, teaches art class down on 2nd street - more info at http://www.kristinmoro.com/lessons_classes.htm. Or you could try some sort of martial arts (there is a great place near the Trader Joe's off Bellflower/Stearns).
Hi D.,
Your local recreation center should be all you need to start. My kids have done quite a few classes there including gymnastics, soccer and art. Also the library will have story times and reading programs. We saw a magic show at our library over the summer. I would start with your city's website or call the rec dept.
Also, my daughter started Daisy Scouts last year - she was six but I think they start at five.
Good Luck.
