You do not have to be a member to go there and play with your baby. We have been there several times, the women are wonderful resources to talk to and they are well-stocked with clean, age appropriate toys!
Maybe we'll see you there!

Hi - I was looking at the Baby Bungalow website and saw they offer a free playgroup on Fridays. Dose anyone know if you have to be a member or can anyone go?
Thanks!

I actually just started working for Healthy Start which is affiliated with Baby Bungalow and I believe that anyone is eligible. You can call ###-###-#### and they should be able to tell you for sure. I hope you decide to participate; I enjoy watching the ladies going in with there babies. They are all so cute. :) C.
Baby Bungalow is fantastic! Their fun Friday unstructured playgroup is free and great for moms to socialize while watching their child play. The program is for children under the age of four. It has been a wonderful way for me to meet other moms and their children. My daughter loves going there. Hope to see you there next Friday! No membership necessary.
Anyone can go. We attended many of the developmental groups and classes when my son who is now 3 was a toddler. Baby Bungalow is an awesome place. I'm sure the playgroup is just as good. :)
Have fun!

Hi, M.!
I've just started looking into the Baby and Me groups too. I just talked to the North Tampa resource center (on Fowler), and they currently have a waiting list. So I gave my contact info and they said they would call when there is an opening.
I also started the Parents as Teachers program this week. A very nice lady named Theresa will come to the house each month and do a developmental activity with me and my daughter. They serve as another set of eyes to make sure your child is meeting appropriate milestones, and can make recommendations for things you can do to aid in his/her development.
Baby Bungalow has a ton of classes, so I think I'll check to see if there is anything I can join this summer that doesn't have a waiting list. If you find additional information, let us know!
Hi M. - Anyone can go to a play group at Baby Bungalow...it is a fantastic resource so I really encourage you to chck out everything they offer new moms & kids! They also have a program called PAT - Parents as Teachers that I've been involved in since my daughter was about 13 months...it's awesome and free, you just have to fill out an application & wait for a spot to become available. Enjoy your playgroup!
