Hi,
I was just getting ready to post this to craigslist(which is a great place for used baby gear) when I saw your ad. I have a crib for sale for $75. It's about 9 years old, but it's been very gently used, looks brand new. Not on any recall lists. It is natural oak and has 3 positions for the mattress. I had to take it apart, but have all the pieces and directions for assembly. I'll even include the mattress (which still has a protective mattress cover on it)
I can email pictures if needed. We live in Everett, but I work in Cambridge(Central Sq) on Saturdays. M.

Contact a church organization or if you put an email or request to friends, they can often come through for you. Saint Vincent De Paul or Goodwill or Salvation Army, call them or another local church etc..

Good luck!

Hi C.,

Sorry for the late response but I just saw your posting. I've got some great baby stuff posted on craigslist, including a fantastic swing, a baby gate, and a snuggle nest for co-sleeping. I also have a ton of gorgeous baby girl clothes that I haven't had the time to post for sale yet, so if your sister is having a girl she can have first dibs on them. Please send me a message if you're interested. We're in Weymouth, not all that far from you. Thanks!
M.

try craigslist.org - people are always selling stuff there, and a lot of it is really reasonable.

good luck!

CRAIGS LIST!

my youngest is 7mos old... as he starts growing out of stuff i'm selling it on criags list. i already sold his swing, snap & Go stroller etc.

it's a gold mine out there.

pack n play with a bassinet attachment - this will be fine for the first few months - the bassinet attachment can hold the baby up to 15 lbs. this may be a little harder to find used - b/c i know most people keep theirs for a while b/c kids can sleep in them up to their liek 3-4 years old (especially for trips etc). so alot of the ones on craigs list are older and may not have the bassinet attachment. a new one is like $100-$150 this would be worth the investment to buy one new. b/c you'll have it for years.

Cribs - again kids are in them to they are like 2-3-4 years old. so the ones that are out there maybe some what older. this also might be a good investment brand new.

Infant carrer/carseat - i'd buy this new - just for the sake of liability - you don't know if the seller ever had an accident with it etc.

other than that - i think you should be able to find everything else you need on craigslist - high chair, bouncy seat, excersaucer (not until the baby is like 4-5 mos old), bathing tubs etc.

don't waste your money on cute outfits for the 0-3 month size.. babies are so squirmy that it's just easier to have them in onsies and one piece sleepers. 3-6 mos will be summer time - again onsies or one piece rompers are easiest. Ebay - you you can find tons of "lots" of baby clothes - people sell lots of clothes in single sizes.

do you know if she's having a boy or girl?

feel free to email me ____@____.com i said as my son is growing out of stuff i'm selling on craigslist/ebay. i'd be happy to sell you things you need directly.
