Let him sleep naked. Nothing wrong with that. Touch his skin while sleeping and I'll bet he feels warm enough.
When i had Michael he loved to cuddle together while he sleep and to be cover with a fleece blanket. Now when i sleep with Jonathan, he doesnt like BLANKETS. Sometimes it would be so cold inside the house and in order for Jonathan to sleep comfortable. I have to take his pants or short off, for him to have a good nite sleep. Any suggestions on what i should do. I have try PJ's, Thermos, sweats pants, body PJ's and sleep sacks (gowns) for baby's. What else can i try???????

My baby always hated blankets. She still kicks them off. Because its summer its not that big of a deal, just let him sleep in his diaper. Mine is in her room with an open window, in her diaper and a tank top, and no blankets (its 79 degrees in my house). Good Luck
ADDED: Kansas mom's post made me think of something. She said he might just be producing a lot of his own body heat, which babies do (they get sweaty sometimes), and if you are sleeping next to him he is also getting your body heat on top of his.
My daughter is the same way. She occasionally now sleeps in PJs when her older brother does and they have a "sleep over" (somewhere else in the house). She has always wanted to sleep in her diaper/underwear even now that she sleeps alone.
Look on the bright side--less laundry and expensive PJs to buy.
Try letting him sleep the way that he's the most comfortable. Even if it is winter, if he's sleeping, that's what matters. As long as you're sleeping with him, he'll be plenty warm.
Why make him sleep in pj's if he doesn't want to? I don't know how old he is, but our grandson sleeps in his diaper...that is it...nothing else...even in the winter!! He is just producing a lot of his own body heat I guess and simply doesn't want to be encumbered with clothes when he sleeps!
I bought him some of those adorable one piece pj's with the feet...he uses them during the day when the house is cool in the winter but they never make it to bed with him. If he is sleeping well...I say let him sleep and count your blessings!!
my kids are like that too. they both have to sleep in light weight jammies or nothing at all. they just get really hot at night and get uncomfortable. my husband is the same way. We actually sleep under separate blankets because of it.
what my kids like best is sleeping in a tee shirt and then under a loose crocheted blankets. that way they are covered up, but it is still very breathable.
Hi M.. My 3 yr old daughter is the same way. And she's been this way since she was a year old. I'll put her in her PJ's. Just before dozing off, she'll now take it off on her own. She sleeps in only her undies. We just try to make sure we put the blanket on top of her, although we always find her with the blanket off in the morning. Oh well. We just let her be.
I call my son the human radiator. He has always slept in an undershirt and flannel shorts in the winter and diaper/ undies in the summer.
In fact, as a baby he wouldn't sleep through the night until one night I was so tired I left him in his clothes. I finally discovered he was too hot (we even lived in snow country). I took off the footy PJ's and put him in a onesie and pants and he was fine-slept "like a baby"
I think it's cute.. why does he have to wear something when he's sleeping (other than a diaper of course), if that's how he's comfy, then that's how he's comfy. My younger son has a really warm "thermostat" and sleeps in a onesie in winter with only a light blanket while the rest of us are under a mountain of blankets and flannel pj's. Some people just have a more active "furnace" than others.
My brother is always freezing and I'm always hot. I can't sleep if it's hot ... I need to be cold at night. My son and my niece are the same way - they are both furnaces and throw off clothes and blankets in the middle of the night. Your son seems to be the same way. Let him sleep how he is comfortable. If he's cold he'll wake up and let you know. He is not going to freeze living in Southern California! And he'll most likely always be hot so be prepared to keep his room cold! (My husband is forced to sleep with the air conditioner and a fan and an air purifier because it's too hot for me in LA)
Hope this helps! This isn't something you need to stress too much about. Your son will be fine.
i don't see much wrong with that either.
but if you'd like to try something else, the sheepskin is a nice solution. i know it sounds very alternative but they actually have them especially for babies because it helps them a lot to regulate their temperature. when they are too hot it cools and absorbs the sweat, and when they are cold it warms. i sent you a link in a private message but you can even order them on amazon.
Some adults are that way too.
Its fine.
Maybe if in his room is cold, use a space heater momentarily to warm up the air a little before he sleeps. But don't leave it on indefinitely... safety hazard.
