Central Precocious Puberty in Boys

Hi. This is my first question on this forum.
I was browsing for information on Precocious Puberty but only saw posts regarding girls. My son started puberty at 7. He has been on hormone therapy for over a year. I know this condition is rarer in boys than girls, and I just don't know anyone personally or online who is going through what we are and with whom I can share stories and concerns. If you are out there and have a boy with Precocious Puberty please let me know! Thanks.

I assume you are taking him to a Pediatric Endocrinologist?

Have you asked the staff there for any support groups or leads?

I have the opposite problem, my son is delayed a few years and we opted to not treat him with growth hormones.

How are your son's treatments working? Not working? Side effects?

I can't help you out with boys but can say that my daughter had Precocious Puberty and was treated from the age of about 14 or 15 months old. She is now an adult and doing fine. If you have questions I could answer I would be more than willing to.

I haven't experienced this, but I hope you do find a support line.
