First suggestion, take a few hard covered books and prop matress from the bottom up (this is where the babies head should be).

Second suggestion, try putting the baby in the crib for naps. Eventually the idea of being in the crib at night won't be such a new deal.

Hope I could help!

what my ped told me to do when my kids had colds and need to be propped up a bit was to stick a blanket under one side of the mattress to elevate it. also, i've seen sleep positioners that have a foam pad in them to create an incline under the baby. hope that helps :)

Hi! Keep in mind that baby sleeping in your bed increases the risk of suffication drastically!

My Dr. told me to place a pillow (not too fluffy) under the crib mattress to slightly elevate for situations like this.

Hope this helps...

check in babies r us or a store like that. They sell a wedge that the baby can sleep on.
