Hi there,
I finally updated my pc to Explorer 7 (its been asking me forever and I kept putting it off). We have another pc in our study with explorer 7 and it works fine. For some reason this pc auto scrolls...or at least I think thats what its called. I'll be on a website or reading email and it scrolls down or up automatically...but not when I would like it too. Im trying to read something and it starts moving and I cant stop it until it hits the bottom or top. Ugh! Really annoying but I dont know how to turn it off! HELP!!! : )

What can I do next?

Do you have the "scroll lock" on your keyboard? If you already tried that then try switching to Firefox internet browser.

If you are using a wireless mouse, try unplugging the part connected to your USB and replugging it back in. You can also try to closing out IE and then restart it.

Another fix that might work (apparently this is not something new...a lot of people are having this issue with IE7, especially w/logitech mice):
Go to Start. Control Panel. Mouse. Choose the Buttons tab. For "Scroller", set to the following: Check the box labeled "Use MS Office compatible scroll only." Also, check the box labeled "Scroll in active window only."

Another alternative is to download Firefox and use it instead of IE. :)

Ours did that and all we did was unplug the mouse/keyboard and then plugged it back in and it solved it. I think maybe the button was sticking or something ?

Glad the fix worked for you... But I really recommend getting mozilla firefox. It's soooo much better. I still use both, buit prefer to use Firefox. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
