Deodorant and Hair Dye Suggestions

My deodorant does not seem to last long at all. I use Secret and it used to work great, but now it just doesn't seem to work well. I tried Secret Clinical and it's better but still good enough. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, I'm looking for a home hair dye, any suggestions for that? I think I'm naturally a dirty blond to light brunette, but I've been going blond so long, I don't actually remember. I like the ones on t.v. that do more of a highlight look, but I don't want to waste money or mess up my hair if they don't work well.

What can I do next?

I've started having the same issues and changed deo several times. I went ahead and spent the $11 for Dove Clinical Strength and haven't had any issues. Up until a couple of months ago, I was perfectly fine with regualar deo....personally, I'm thinking they're trying to get people to spend more and use the clinical strength myself.

Try Degree deodorant. And then periodically rotate the brands you use. I don't know why, but if I use the same brand for a while, they quite working. Same deal with me and Secret. Ditto on Degree, but if I stop using one for several months, it will work fine when I begin again. I've had good luck with Dove too ("Satin" something).

I use Dove Ultimate solids. You may want to try a roll-on. Dove does make them as well.

As a former hairstylist I just want to warn you on lightening your hair at home. There are many, many people that do this successfully and their looks great.....but it can be very tricky and you could end up at the salon anyway getting it fixed. These are the issues. You only want to lighten or dye the roots, if not you are overlapping the chemicals and this can cause pretty good damage (especially going blond). It's really hard not to overlap when doing it yourself- that's why even hairstylists have someone else color their hair. Other things that could be an issue as well are ending up with the hair being brassy or the color bleeding when doing a highlighting kit. I hope this might help, if you do try it at home, I would just say get someone to help you apply it.

Consider taking Alfalfa tablets they are a natural, internal deodorizer, or talk to someone at a health food store for other suggestions.

I get my hair colored by my stylist, much less likely to have an oops.
