Well ladies help me decide, I have had Direct TV for 10 years now. And every time I turn around it's more expensive. Plus I just get into a rut and don't do anything about trying to cut the cost down. I have recently been receiving information about Time Warner where I can bundle and save $100 a month from my AT&T and Direct TV but I have heard horror stories about Time Warner and that it's off more then it's on. So my question is, what do you have, what are the pros and cons' $100 a month is a lot of money to be throwing away for a service the same service just a different company. What do you think, I'll go by the majority of you. Thanks

What can I do next?

Since you have been with Direct TV for so long, you should call them and tell them you are planning on switching. They WILL work with you. It happened to us. My husband loved their football package, but it became very expensive and we were looking to cut costs. He called them and told them he was not renewing the package. Long story short, he ended up getting it for about $20, plus some free movie channels for 6 months.

Give them a call. It just might be worth it!

The reason I stay with Direct TV and dont switch is because no other provider offers the Sprout Network included in their standard pricing. My boys love Sprout. My husband has Dish Network and for us Charter and they can't compete.

How you tried to call Direct TV and tell them about your frustration on price? We did that and they lowered our bill a little bit. Never hurts to ask.

Nationwide people have different opinions about all of the major TV providers out there. I was surprised by what I found on besttvforme.com and it’s helped me to decide to keep the DISH network service I get as an employee. It’s definitely an interesting breakdown of the customer service, programming and pricing between multiple providers that’s worth checking out even if you’re not looking to change services.

We have had TWC for 7 years and never once has our cable gone out. Even in really bad storms it has always remained on. I don't have anything bad to say about them. Wish they were a bit cheaper though!

STAY with DirecTV!!! We switched to SureWest (local provider) to save money and have really, really regretted it. They also keep hiking their fees and we ultimately didn't save a whole lot given the quality of services. It's just not to the level of DirecTV as far as options and service.

I have time warner. Its Ok for TV channels & connection.
Out internet SUCKS. Even their high end is slow.
We don't have any special movie channels, and we have the basic internet.
When we started it was about $65 or so a month.
Now it is about $135 a month!! So we pay A LOT for crappy internet, and OK tv.
