I am looking to purchase a double jogger and would like some advice on which models other mom's like. I have a 2 1/2 y/o son and a 5month old son. I would like something that I could use for several years as the boys grow. My 5month old is very large and will fit well in a jogger by this summer. Thank you for your information.

What can I do next?

I only have a single jogger, but I work at a baby store and can tell you a bit about the doubles. Bob is going to be your best quality, but also the most expensive. You most definitely don't want to go with a Baby Trend or Jeep that they sell at Babies R Us. The quality is not there and you will end up having to buy another one. I personally have a Tike Tech, with a stationary 16" front wheel. Which they make in a double. Its middle or the road as for $, but we have had it for 2 years and used it often and its still in great condition. Another option in the Baby Jogger brand, performance series. Baby Jogger is a great brand that is compatable with many infant carseat and lays flat if desired. The way it folds is also unique to them. It will definitely take some research deciding just which one and price is right, but my best advice is not to go with the cheaper brands found at Babies R Us. Good luck, and happy jogging!

I have a BOB Revolution Duallie and it's awesome. The front tire locks for straight on running but without it locked it's a perfect everyday stroller. Then weather shade is the largest I've ever seen and both seats recline separately. It steers like my Bugaboo Cameleon. The only negative is that it's still large (albeit flat) while folded. We have an SUV and remove the front tire to fit it in the trunk space. Doubles come with a large footprint though, it's just the way they are. The nice thing about the BOB is that every door that a wheelchair will fit through, so will the BOB, it surprises people. I bought mine locally, but babyjogger.com had the best prices.

I have an older InStep and I love it. It has all the features Amber talks about in her BOB. We got ours off eBay for a steal - $40 with shipping (or was it $60?) In any case, really cheap because they had terrible pics and they said it needed parts. Turns out the canopy was broken on one side and we have never fixed it, it's not enough to bother my boys. I've had that for almost 3 years now. My sons are 5 and 3, and I almost gave it to a friend, but I found that I could use it for one more summer.

Hi S.

We have the double city classic. I love the stroller it was able to get through the tough snow stroms this winter. You infant can sit in it right away. We have a 21/2 year old too and an 8 month old. We have been using the stroller since he was a few weeks old. It reclines all the way flat which is good when you are out all day.

I agree the Bob is the best!!! Its so much lighter than any other jogging stroller I have seen. Its so easy to steer with 1 hand.

i think the BOB is by far the best stroller i've ever used. very easy to steer and fold. the weight limit is high so you should be able to use it for a while. make sure whatever stroller you get has the option for the front wheel to swivel or else you will have a hard time pushing it.
