FREE Educational Websites for a 5Yo

My son likes to play on the computer from time to time. I am looking for some new webites for him, preferably educational websites. While I would much prefer a free website, I would still consider one that has a nominal fee. I would like some sites that focus a bit more on math, science, geography/social science, or history. I don't want any that have a lot of ads. What do you and your kids like?

We use:
pbskids.com
disneyjr.com
nickjr.com
starfall.com
kabongo.com

we use abcmouse.com There they go through different type of environments such as the Arctic, outter space, under water and so on and have a bunch of different information about each at the same time as they are in these different environments they go through a lesson plan that phonics (differents levels) math, art and music.. They do have a free mode of it we do pay about 7 dollars a month and we can have up to 3 children on one account. I dont remember what the difference is between the free accounts and the paid accounts.

The thing about free websites is they use the advertising to pay for what you are getting for free.
I was going to list the ones you already have,

DS (6) also really likes jumpstart.com. It's kind of a 3D world he can move around in and go to different places for different activities. You can pay to become a member, but we haven't and there's still plenty for him to do in there (obviously HE would like me to pay so he can unlock more activities... but it is what it is).

I would like to track your question as we are always looking for new sites too. We mostly use starfall right now, we have even paid the 30 annual fee for more content as my son uses it a lot and has learned a lot, but it would be nice to have more

Try coolmath.com -not sure if you have to have a password to use it or not. My son did get a password from his school, but that's so they can keep track of who is doing what on it for a competition. He's 5 and he LOVES it!

abcmouse is registered at my pre-k. We can log on at home and see what they've been working on and how they are doing. She can work on those same games at home to reinforce what they are doing at school.

I use http://www.123teachme.com/ a lot. It mainly focuses on spanish for kids, but there's a lot of useful things on there as far as math, reading, spelling, things like that. There's also a section on medical stuff so the site can grow with your kids.

K-2 students use this at my school. They need some help at first, but are able to do it mostly on their own after some practice.
