We are girls here in this house, and have no idea what a 6 yr old boy wants for his birthday! He is a typical boy that loves video games; wii etc.. but, I didn't really want to get video stuff; he has so much already, and it's a bit over the budget for me. What other things do boys like at this age? Thanks Moms!
Nerf Guns!!! LOL ~ You can get them for anywhere from $5 - $45 they have a ton of them to choose from! ~ I also like to get kids board games and stuff that makes them think.....LOL You can get that kind of stuff pretty inexpensively as well!
My son just turned 7 and some of his favorites are board games (esp apples to apples junior), any type of dinosaur, sports gear/equipment, legos for sure, bakugans, hex bugs, star wars beanz, water/nerf guns, and fishing stuff.
Legos are good. (They've taken over our play room.)

my go-to gift for all little boys are Bionacles- legos they make a million different "guys" they are fairly cheap and they always seem to like them. I think it is the go-to gift for most moms becuase my boys have all of them lol
Anything for the pool! Kids love that stuff! All boys love balls. Bouncy, small, large, squishy, hard, soft, all kinds of balls! Get him to use his brain and motor skills instead of videa games that are ruining his brain and vision!

My 6yr old son loves Nerf Guns and board games. That is what he is drawn to in the store and at home. He is also really interested in musical instruments, Flash light/bug kits, and science related kits.
My nephew will be 6 on Tuesday and loves legos. They are great since they foster creativity while playing.
My son is 7 and he loves to play mancala and card games like Uno, Go Fish. He also loves Legos. They have some he really likes, the ninja ones, not sure on the exact name and you can get specific theme sets. He also loves Hot Wheels and there's a lot of cool tracks.
My son is 6 and a few ideas of toys he loves: toy cars (like Hot Wheels), Legos, his knight Playmobil set, action figures (he likes Batman, Spiderman, and Iron Man), and for Christmas he got a Zoobmobile building set that both he and his sister love playing with (they can build different toy cars with it).
We just went to a party for a 6 year old boy and he's really into monster trucks, race tracks, matchbox cars, nerf guns or those big water guns that spray like a gallon of water a second.
My five and a half year old son looooves Star Wars stuff. Also we got a couple of remote-controlled helicopters for Christmas last year and he really gets a kick out of flying those.
my sons 6 and the best thing he got so far this year in his opinion was one of those paperjam guitars....i think they're like $15.00 at walmart.....he thinks hes a real rock star now.....
