We like to go to either Wan Fu or to Pei Wei. Both are great!
I have been craving chinese food for about a month now and do not know of a good and delishous restaurant. We moved to Austin area about a year ago but do not go out to eat much.
Can anyone recommend a delishous, fresh, and good price Chinese restaurant: buffet or sit down..A place that you would recommend to good friends and would take your parents.
Thanks,
B

We love Summer Palace out in Round Rock. Its a buffet and I love it !! We live in northwest Austin and I will drive way out to RR just to eat chinese food there. :)
My favorite in Austin is Snow Pea. It is near 35th and Jefferson. The lunch prices are reasonable, food is tasty, staff is friendly, and they are fast. They are rarely crowded as they seem to do a lot of to go service for the surrounding medical community. My favorite north Austin restaurant is Four Seasons at 14735 Bratton Lane, not too far from Wells Branch Parkway. It is in a strip mall across from Wells Branch Elementary.
We go to Summer Palace in Round Rock off 35. Its a buffet and the food has been consistently good and fresh no matter what time of day we go there.
sichuan garden in round rock is nice and twin lions on 183 as well
My husband is Taiwanese and says the only authentic and decent Chinese restaurant in Austin (he's originally from Houston) is Din Ho on 183, located in a small Asian strip center. We love all of the selections, family-friendly atmosphere, and reasonable prices. We even had our rehearsal dinner there!
I've always been a fan of Twin Lion. It's at Braker and 183 in a strip mall that is built within the HEB parking lot. It's been there for at least 13 years (that's as long as I've been eating there). My favorites are the Wonderful Chicken and the Sechwan (sp?) Beef. They are fast, inexpensive and yummy. We go there often when my parents are in town. There's another good one in Round Rock off I-35 at Hester's Crossing. It's also in a strip mall on the west side of the highway. It's called China Wall. Fantastic Mongolian Beef!!
