Does anyone know of a large park that is good for walking a baby in a stroller? I am interested in a park where I can spend 45 minutes at least and not circle the park many many times.

What can I do next?

I still walk Los Gatos Creek Trail. Now that the girls are older, they bring their scooters instead of using a stroller. What I like about this trail is that there a several "jumping on" points, so you can walk a diffrent part or direction everyday. It's been 4 years and I'm still not bored with it.

Hi,
here's a great website called strollerhikes.com. I check it all the time when I want to get out with my son.

Los Gatos Creek Trail is good with a stroller, also there is a paved trail from Almaden Lake Park that goes along Greystone Creek. Both are in San Jose... you didn't say where you were from. Both have a lot of traffic (people walking, on bikes, skates, and strollers) and are fairly safe, but I would recommend walking with a buddy anyway.

I like Edenvale Park. It's next to the Hayes Mansion. They have a trail that is nice. I take my 4 year old on his bike and push my one year old in the stroller. I am guessing in 45 minutes, you would make the loop about 4 or 5 times.

Have you been to Rancho San Antonio near 280 and Foothill? Deer Hollow Farm is about a mile walk. You can see the farm animals, garden, etc.

Happy strolling!

I used to walk at Vasona Park in Los Gatos or Campbell Park in Campbell...they are somewhat connected to each other, but both are pretty long.

Lake Elizabeth in Fremont is a nice park with a great walking route around the lake.

Cuesta Park in Mountain View, near the intersection of Grant Road and Cuesta Drive, has lots of good paved paths. You'd have to circle a few times in 45 minutes, but you could vary your route some and the park has lots of shade and pretty trees.

The Rose Garden is big and it's located on Naglee Ave in San Jose or The park in Los Gatos on Pollard Ave.
