It's getting to be that time where I need to get my daughters hair cut or shaped. My daughter has hardly any hair right now but it looks so messy that it needs to be shaped. Any recommendations on a good hair place for kids or fave stylists would be greatly appreciated!

What can I do next?

I consistently hear bad things about Kids Cuts in the Fred Meyer parking lot in Issaquah. I've heard mixed reviews about Common Folk Kids at Crossroads mall, but consistently hear that they're expensive. We haven't cut my daughter's hair yet, but will probably just do it at home until it's longer. We've taught her "still as a statue" to get her to hold still while we put her hair in pigtails etc., and I think she'd do it long enough to cut it if we needed. You also might have her watch you getting your hair cut and then she might be more excited to get hers cut. If it's just shaping, and not outright styling, I say go for it at home! :)

Hi,
With my first child I took them to University village.. thay had the kids chairs ect.. But with my second child and not wanting to spend as much money.. I take both my cildren to my hair stylist.. she gives me a deal.. also she takes the time to really cut the hair.. both my daughters have angular bobs.. super cute makes the hair look thick in the back with a little layer.. I brought a treat like m and m or a sucker while they sit in the chair.. The kids were so excited to be at moms hair cuting place. Sometimes the kids places seem like they rush and get the kids in and out.. I don't live on the east side or else I would give you my salon name.

Hi everyone, This is S. from Crossroads Kids Salon/ Cf Kids Salon? The Hair Chair.....(.All the same just under different names over the 8+years I was working there)

I am now doing mobile hair. (I come to you) My price is still the same. $27.00 cash or check. When ready to book an appt. simply call or text me with your address and desired date and time. I will do my best to accommodate your request. (depending on the day, I may have to bring my six year old with me)

I find that children like consistency because of the fact we have already changed where they go to get their haircut I find that it is best to keep everything else about as consistent as possible.

FYI. I will be bringing a Leapster, and gameboy w/games, a portable DVD player w/ Tom and Jerry movies, tubs of cars, animals, littlest pet shop, my little ponies, and zoobles. If you have any special requests to movies or other toys please let me know. I have a lot of almost everything. I WILL NOT BE BRINGING CANDY OR BALLOONS. I WILL HOWEVER; HAVE A "TREASURE BOX OF PRIZES.

Look forward to seeing you all soon,

S.

We go to (and LOVE) CF Kids in Crossroads mall...it is great (we go to Sheri). They give the kids toys to play with to keep the busy, have always been patient when he moves around (although he is pretty good at sitting still)...they have cute chairs...Definitely recommend it!

We've gone to the kid's place at crossroads - she got a great haircut - I didn't really like the stylist - she just kept telling my daughter to sit still - she's 3 - but the cut was great. We are not loyal to anyone - we go to a place in West Seattle, then University Village, then Crossroads. Crossroads is a bit more money than those in the city but the cut was very nice.
