Hand Stamped Silver Jewelry...

Where do you buy yours?

I got a lovely necklace with a couple pendants with my son's name and birthdate on it (ordered from an online jewelry maker), and while I do love it, the o-ring keeps opening and the discs keep coming off (I have had it for nearly 5 years, so no product defect, just wear and tear). Luckily, I haven't lost them yet. I know it's a simple solder to re-close the o-ring, but I'm still thinking I might like a new necklace from Santa! I really like the place where I got my first one, because her prices are super reasonable, and she'll customize just about anything you want, as long as she has what you're requesting... but there are some other sites that have nice stuff too. Just looking for your input... Etsy has a million of these, but that makes it so hard to narrow it down! LOL

Just wondering where you've gotten your stamped silver jewelry and what you love about it...

What can I do next?

I'll try to remember/find the person from Etsy where I got mine. I love it, and it's very sturdy! I'll pm you when I find the name.

Also, I second the James Avery suggestion. There's one in Atlanta, and I have a beautiful charm bracelet from there. They also have lovely necklaces and other jewelry that's very well made. The specialize in keepsake jewelry. I don't think they do hand-stamping, but you should check them out.

****Update -here is the link to JLynnCreations on Etsy where I got my hand-stamped mother necklace. I love the one I put together and my husband got it for me for Mother's Day and added a few special charms. One word -the discs and charms DO tarnish a bit, which I really like because it gives it an antiqued look, but if that bothers you, be forewarned or contact the artist to find out what she recommends.

I don't know if they stamp things, but in Texas, we get a lot of our jewelry from James Avery. High quality stuff that will last a life time. I wear my necklace every day and have had it on for almost 10 years straight.
