Hi! There are lots of great places to by things for your baby. My favorite is called "Once Upon a Child". It sells used items for good prices. There is one in Monroeville, one in Robinson, and one in Wexford, so you can find one close to where you are. You can also go to "Babies R Us". There is one in Cranberry, and there may be others around too. Finally, the new outlet mall in Washington PA has several baby clothing stores. You could go there too.

Have fun!

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

I agree with buying the "What to Expect..." series of books. They provide a lot of info and are easy to read.

Here is a website I found on the internet that provides a list of items you may need for a baby:

Since babies grow so fast I wouldn't buy alot of clothes. To save money, buy them at a consignment atore. You will save a ton of money.

You might also want to check with you OB/GYN or your child's pediatrician (if you've chosen one yet) to see if they have any boolets/checklists with info on preparing for the arrival of your baby.

Hi! Congrats! I recommend that you get the books "What to expect when your expecting" and "What to expect the first Year." They are both great books written in a month-by-month question/answer format that is easy to read, and easy to find answers to specific questions. I used them for all three of my pregnancies and through the third book "What to expect the Toddler years". I wish they had a What to expect the teen years!! Best wishes.

Definitely get a copy of "What To Expect When You're Expecting"! I think they even give a list of items to have on hand for the arrival. You know, there is SO much stuff out there for babies, but keep in mind that babies simply do not NEED all of that stuff. People have been having babies for FOREVER and very few babies in history had all the stuff now available to us. Try not to get suckered in by the hype and TONS of products, baby gear etc. Stick to the basics and you'll be just fine. Congratulations!
