I Feel pregnant...but Am Worried

I guess I'm just writing this for comfort really. My husband and I have been trying to conceive our 3rd child since late February of this year. I've had cycle issues and had to be put on progestrone to regulate my period...they were lasting anywhere from 2 weeks to a week on, 4 days off, then back again! Last month, the OB put me on a generic form of Clomid. I was told that my best time for fertility is 6 days AFTER I finished my pills. I also purchased ovulation kits. The kits told me that my best time of ovulation was 4 days BEFORE what the doctor said. So, my husband and I did what we needed to do at both times. I went in yesterday for my 21 day blood draw to see if I ovulated (because the month before it showed that I didnt'). I haven't heard back from the doctors yet and I'm getting worried. I think I'm pregnant because I've been EXTREMELY tired for the past 2 weeks and my lower abdomen (under my belly button) feels bloated...like I felt when I was pregnant with my other girls. I have to wait till the middle/end of next week for a valid pregnancy test...any comments????

What can I do next?

I really can't give you sound advice, but just wanted to let you know that I am kinda going throught the same thing. We have been trying to conceive our third child since June. I have two healthy boyz, but went thru two miscarriages last year, and am now having trouble conceiving. I took the blood test last month to find my #'s very low. My doc also put me on a generic form of Clomid, and I go the 15th, tomorrow, to get a repeat blood test to determine my levels at this point. I tried the online ovulation calculators, but was really unsure how many days my cycle is, cuz they haven't been too normal the last few months since going off the pill.

I have, like the other woman said, just tried to de-stress and be calm and patient. Stress is not gonna help me get pregnant any faster and really gets me nowhere. I know that GOD is watching out for me and has a plan for my life and knows what he is doing...so when it is time, I will know.
I do not plan to take Clomid month after month due to the extra risk of multiples...that alone freaks my husband out. So, I am kinda just sitting back, enjoying the "practice" and letting nature take its course...YES it is hard, but I do not want creating a baby to be a "job" and have to be constantly watching the calendar and figuring out when we should and when we shouldn't!!!!

Take care, just know that you are not alone!!!!!!!!!!

As someone who spent 3 years on fertility treatments I'd like to offer the following advice: calm down and be patient.

In the beginning, I'd get so excited and sure that the treatments would work only to find out that month after month there was no egg, no ovulation, no pregnancy, etc. and just be devastated. It was an emotional roller coaster and conception started to feel like a job.

After about 4 months I decided that while I would remain hopeful, I wasn't going to get emotionally attached to anything until I got a pregnancy confirmation. My stress level decreased and I felt better about the process.

Listen to what your doctor/ER doctor has to say about your ovulation and ditch what the kits have to say. If you've been having issues with ovulation, then you typically don't have the 'normal' ovulation cycle that most predictor kits rely on. Your doctor likely knows more about the cause of your fertility issues than a kit. Of course, it never hurts and is always fun to practice with your husband!

Be patient and wait. You'll drive yourself sick with worry if you don't. And, honestly, while on fertility meds there is the opportunity that although fertilization has occurred and implantation has taken place, the pregnancy might never get to the point where the heartbeat initiates. I know you don't want to hear this, but even if you are pregnant I would wait until about 6-8 weeks and a heartbeat is detected to get really attached to the pregnancy.
