My two year old goes to the Coppell Childrens Courtyard and I am very happy with it. She did not start there until she was out of the infant room though, so I can not specifically speak to that. They have cameras so you can view what is going on. I have also always felt that the management staff are always open to concerns and feedback. And believe me I do not keep my opinions to myself :)
I would also recommend an in home daycare for the first year, if you can find a good one. I would give you the person I went to, but she is no longer watching kids. A major drawback that I can see of having an infant in a center setting, is that the lights are always on, and they are all on different schedules. Seems to me it would be hard for them to get good naps in, but then again my DD never slept well. On the flip side one drawback of going to an in-home daycare is that they can set their own hours and take vacations or get sick and then you get stuck having to find alternative care for your child.
Either decision is difficult, but I my best advise is to go with your gut. Interview people, see the setting and see what you think.
Good luck!
