Hi M.,
I have a great ped doctor that is out of Shorewood. His name is Dr. Bierma and he is in the phone book. However, I am not sure about the public aid situation, but it would not hurt to try.
Hello again,
I would ideally like for both of my boys to have the same pediatrician and ideally that dr. would be a man. I'm a single mother, so I'd like another man that they are comfortable with to talk to about their male issues that I can't answer. I'm wondering if any of you know of or are already seeing a great male pediatrician?
Thanks again,
M.

My children see Dr. Ali His ofice address is 290 springfeild dr. suite 290 his office is in Bloomingdale il. He is very, very good. He does accept public aid the office number is ###-###-####. Hope this is helpful. I'm not sure where ur located.
Dr. Mark Rosenberg at children's health associates is great and he is an All Kids provider ie enrolled to take public aid, which is now called All Kids for children - uninsured children of any income are eligible.
He is at Sheffield and diversey and has another practice I think further north. His number is ###-###-####. If you live west, Pedios in Oak Park takes All Kids and Dr. Klaus there is supposed to be good. Also, Access Community Health Network has a variety of good pediatricians and sites in many locations. you could check out their website.

Where are you located? I went through the family practice clinic at Ressurrection on Talcot. There were a number of great male doctotrs there.
I would like to know of public aid Drs also where they would be in the local area, i live in wheeling, there is a place its called Anderson medical center, in Des Plaines and possibly buffalo grove, i take my daughter there, they were having problems with getting payments from public aid , hope fully they go things straightened out, you can call to see if they have a male Dr, my daughter turns 18 in may so shes almost ready for regular Drs that adults see, Anderson medical does see children and adults but i will say there are not many public aid Drs, its hard to get one, they don't offer much help but at the emergency rooms they always take public aid, you might want to give it a try, they are right near down town des plains and also if they are still opne in buffalo grove,Anderson medical center ###-###-####
