Infant Sunglasses

Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can find sunglasses for my 8 month old? I am looking for the ones with the band that goes around the back of their head. My baby HATES the sun in her eyes so I have been looking and have had no luck in stores, and when I look online most reviews say they ended up being way too big for an infants head.

What can I do next?

My absolute favorite are Looping 1 Julbo. My daughter has owned a set of Looping 3 and I'm buying her the Solan Julbo for this summer. Love them--especially because there is no "wrong side up" -- they are designed with babies/toddlers in mind so they cannot put them on wrong! You pay more for them but they have 100% UVA/B/C protection, no hinges (in the toddler version) to break or get hair caught in, AND are virtually indestructible.

You can find them on Amazon or GatorTots.com (friend GatorTots on Facebook for June's coupon code).

I've seen them at Target this time of year. I believe Babies/Toys R us carries them too.

I ordered my my son's at babybanz.com. I tried all the ones from local stores but they would not stay on! I got these when he was 2 weeks old he is now 19months and still wears them. THey have adjustable band! They are around $22 with shipping and all! They are really heavy duty too!

If you find glasses but they don't have an elastic band you can make one by tying a piece of elastic on each ear piece.

I found some with an elastic band at Fred Meyer's but they're more of a toddler size. I think with the band, tho, they might fit a younger baby.

when my boys were that age I had them wearing sunglasses with the band from One Step Ahead. You can go to their website www.onestepahead.com to order if you are interested. Also, I think I have also seen those sunglasses at Target in past years. Good luck!

I second babybandz, I ordered mine from amazon for CHEAP, not sure what size I bought, and yes they are a little big, All that really means though, since they are adjustable, is that the logo on the strap isn't centered on the back of his head because I have to adjusted them more than I probably should. We love them regardless, and he wears them, they stay on in the pool and when I wear him and between all the transporting between car seat and stroller and wrap ect. So really what more can I ask for!
