I am almost 36 years old and my husband and I really want to have another child. Since our last child my husband had this awful condition called Sarcoidosis. As a side effect of his medicaiton he now has Neuropathy in his legs and has to take Morphine everyday for pain. I have talked to my doctor about this and she assures me that it is ok but I still really worry about it. Is anyone else in my situation?

What can I do next?

Unfortunately only a specialist can answer this question for you. It is unlikely you will find one on here. While I (and other moms, Im sure) love to offer support and prayer, very few of us are licensed doctors. I sincerly hope you find the answers you are looking for, and I hope they are the answers you want!!

His meds shouldn't have an effect on getting pregnant, however I'm not sure if sarcoidosis is genetic. That may be something you want to check into.

If it's your age you're worried about, I don't think there's much of an issue. If it's hubby's condition and meds, I have no idea.

Good luck!

Had my first at 34 and my second at 37. My Dr claims there is no problem with being an older mom now. He has women who are delivering at 40+ with no problems.

Dear J.

I feel lead to reach out to you and your husband in response to his medical condition. Almost five years ago I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia is a horribly painful disease that is often very disabling. There were times I lost my will to live. It was my faith and hope in Christ that kept me going. Then in his timing, he answered my prayers. I no longer suffer from Fibromyalgia. He led me to a Nutrition Response Testing (NRT) practitioner. NRT is a non-invasive system of analyzing the body to determine the underlying causes of ill or non-optimum health. With the identification of the core –reason the body is creating symptoms, we can isolate and verify the exact whole food supplements (and quantities) the body needs to resolve its problems. The body has the full potential to repair itself when given the correct nutritional regimen. As my health continued to improve, I felt lead and God opened the door for me to become a Nutrition Response Testing Practitioner. I recently graduated the Advanced Clinical Training program and am now considered a Master of NRT. I am currently practicing out of my home in the White Lake area. I would be happy to send you more detailed information. You can reach me at ____@____.com.
