I have been reading some responses from moms who work from home and I Noticed that there are several. It seems like everytime I search for work at home it looks like a scam. I currently work part time out of the home it has been great for the time being but the kids are growing as are there expenses. The last time I worked out side full time after I paid the sitter I had made $16.00 a week. I need to be home with my kids and we need more money. I don't have the money to "invest" in a stay at home business.

What can I do next?

Are you still looking for something? I just started my own business as an Independent Consultant for a company named BeautiControl, where I bring spa-quality products and a relaxing spa environment into people's homes. There start-up kit costs $179, but you can get that back if you meet sales goals, so then it is free! Also, if you hold just two spas a week (each one only lasts an hour) you can earn $1000 a month! I don't know about you, but I couldn't find anything else that pays nearly that much for such little time investment. If you are interested in more info, I'd love to share it with you! Good Luck!

Hi J.,

My name is L., and I am new to Mamasource. I am also a Pampered Chef consultant. The Pampered Chef has been around for more than 25 years, and we have helped many men and women realize their dream of earning a living doing something they love while staying at home. We are a part of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. (Warren Buffet bought our company because he saw how successful we were!!!). So you don't have to worry about legitimacy if you are interested in TPC.

If you would like to find out more about The Pampered Chef, please visit my website at www.pamperedchef.biz/keishaskitchen and click on "Join My Team." I'd be happy to answer any questions you have. Best of luck and I hope this information is helpful to you!

I'm not sure what work training you do have, but think about your skills. Can you type / use a computer? Can you teach / tutor something like music lessons? Pet grooming / care? Home design / organization? Avon or Mary Kay sales? Arts and crafts? Sewing? There's some good money in all of these skills. All you'd have to do is market thru Internet and local places / publications...wherever they let you put out some flyers or biz cards, signs in windows etc., advertising your services....My suggestion is to try to generate income this way and be your own boss, set your own rates. You can write off gas for business and supplies, maybe even home improvements or a new computer, for example. That's how people are affording to invest in a home biz. Be your own boss. P.

Hi J.,
You are so right. The majority of work from home offers are scams. The ideal one will create residual income which means you do the work now and the money will continue after you stop working. It will also involve products that people buy and use everyday so there's continual demand. This business is only appropriate if you love helping people, starting with your own family. You can expect to see lives changed and people forever thanking you for how you helped them. Oh, and you can start it for under $25.00 - I did.
Let me know if this sounds like something you'd like to learn more about.
