Looking for a Couple Good Dentist's

The dentist has never been a place I enjoy going either and have gone through quite a number of them! I was lucky enough to discover Dr. Suave at Apple Dental Group on Garfield. ###-###-####. He is excellent, so good in fact I won't let anyone else touch either my teeth or my kids teeth!

Hi D.. I have been going to Dr. Gary Clague in Troy for years. He is about my age (early 50's, gentle, thoughtful about explaining things, takes his time, hides the needle if you're getting a shot, etc.) does a very nice job, has a wonderful office staff, and is good at what he does. I'm new to the area and have been asking around myself. Dr. Kathleen Vani is located in Shelby Township at 52133 Van Dyke ###-###-####. Her daughter is in my daughter's kindergarten class so we have met on several occasions. She's a very nice lady and has a good reputation with a lot of my neighbors.

I've also been referred to Dr. Fedin at 24 Mile Road and Mound. I'm told he's an older gentleman and does a good job. His dental hygenist, Chris, was highly recommended by my neighbor. All I have for him is his phone ####-###-####.

I'm a baby when it comes to a dentist,Dr. Stricker on Harper around 10 mile was great. I had to have dental surgery because one of my front teeth broke off. Then 2 teeth capped with a bridge across for the surgically removed tooth. I never felt an ounce of pain during or even after it was done, and I get great comments on how my teeth look. Michael Aiello DDS is located on Hayes Road in Sterling Hgts, we have been going to him for 10 years. He is very gentle and the girls in the office are great too. I have 3 boys that I take and they great with them too.

Mitchell Family Dentist are excellent. They are on Harper near 13 mile.

Dr. Esseambre. I have been going to him for well over 10 years. He is located at 21 and Garfield. He is very gentle, and last year he made great dentures for my huband. His number is ###-###-####

I really like Dr. Simony in Clinton Twp. I am a big baby as well and he's very understanding and doesn't make me feel like an idiot! His office staff is also wonderful.

I've always been a big wuss about the dentist. I rarely went until I found my new dentist. He's at Family Comfort Dental in Center Line (off of Van Dyke near 10 Mile) and his name is Dr. Rick Schwartz. He's patient friendly and he doesn't push you or guilt you into getting things done. He's let me do everything at my own pace. I'm not sure what all he does Denture wise but you can always check. I have MetLife for dental and they take that - not sure what other ins they take though. Give Dr Rick a shot - I tell everyone about him now!

Hello...I go to a dentist on Mack in Grosse Pointe. His name is Dr Sodonis. ###-###-####. I have had everything from root canals, fillings to now dentures at 48 years old! I am the worlds biggest baby when it comes to dentists. He takes his time but is very gentle. His rates are from below average to average. As for your your mom, I have lower dentures. That is the biggest mistake I ever made.The Dentist that did my dentures, (Not the DDS I mentioned above) did them at one appt. He pulled my teeth and put in immediate dentures. They were way to big. They never fit quite right.Does she have any other alternatives?Good Luck in whatever you and your mom decide.

I'm not sure if my dentist specializes in dentures, I think she's more cosmetic but I've been very happy with her. I too am a baby about the dentist. She's done a crown and a root canal on a molar of mine last year and she's really gentle and understanding. In fact, she's so gentle that I've switched my kids from a pediatric dentist to her and my youngest (4) just had a filling and said it didn't hurt or anything. I live in Clinton Twp and I go to Preferred Dental and see Dr. Jeff. He is wonderful. I am also very skittish about dentists because of past experiences. Good Luck!

Redwood Dental- They have many locations (21 & Schoenher) (9 mile and Jefferson) (13 mile and ????) Have been going for about 12 years. All staff very nice, even my 6 year old son doesn't mind going and he has not been afraid. They make you comfortable and even have like payment plans etc. for those that have procedures done that need some time to pay.

My dentist is great. His name is Charles Marinelli and is located at 12 mile and Hoover.

Dr. Susko! He's located in the strip mall at 19 and Hayes. I have referred many people to him, including a co-worker who lives in Bloomfield Hills and drives all the way out to see him. She hadn't been to a dentist in YEARS because she has a phobia about them. After my insistence, she set up an appointment and has been seeing him ever since. Not sure if he does dentures, but I would be suprised if he doesn't. He seems to do it all. Just let him know your fears (as I have them severely too) and he does whatever he can to help make the transition smooth. Great guy and soooo glad I found him. His number is ###-###-####. If you call him, he is in that specific office on Mon - Wed. Otherwise you will find him in his St. Clair Shores office from Thurs on.
