Congratulations!
Another one recommending Dr. Ann McGravey. Love her.
Hi Moms! Can anyone recommend a pediatrician or family medicine practice in the North Andover/Andover area? My husband and I recently moved to the area and are expecting our first baby in a couple of months...we are currently on my health insurance at MIT (and will be through birth and maternity leave) but will need to find someone after that when I stay home and we start using his health insurance (Blue Cross). We have no idea where to begin looking...Thanks in advance!!

First let me say Congratulations! Very exciting times for you right now!
I will tell you that I use a practice (and have for 17 years) called Woburn/North Andover Pediatrics. I have only been to the Woburn site, but LOVE them there. There are several Dr's (though you do choose a primary) and nurses, they have wonderful hours and if you call when they are closed, they are very quick to get back to you. Again, only speaking for the Woburn branch, but .... thats my vote! Good luck in your search.

We have been going to North Andover Pediatrics since my 4 year old was born and have been very happy. They are on 114, across from Stop and Shop. Their# is ###-###-####. We really like Dr. Beth Freire and Dr. Alison Martin. They are great about giving referrals for specialists at Boston hospitals, too. They have good hours, have someone on call on nights and weekends. Also, they are affiliated with Woburn Pediatrics, which is open on weekday evenings and weekends for sick appointments.
Good luck!
I have been going to Andover Pediatics for 7+ years and have always been pleased with them. All the doctors there are good, but I especially like Dr. Chan. Also, if you plan to breastfeed, Grace Clancy, the nurse practioner is also a lactation consultant. She's AWESOME!! I had some difficulty nursing my first and I couldn't have done it without her. They are also open on weekends for sick visits - can't say enough good things about them.
Hi there...we are relatively new to the area as well! We love N.A. and use Dr. Elizabeth Winterkorn at Children's Medical Office in North Andover - love them. They are directly affiliated with Children's Hospital in Boston so if there are ever any issues, you deal directly with Children's. For everyday (sick and well) issues, their N.A. offices are great and we really like the rest of the staff as well. Good luck!

We use Dr. Ann McGravey at 12 Main Street in NOrth ANdover. She's listed as Kids Dr. We love her. Kids have had her since they were very small and the other Dr. in the practice relocated. ###-###-####. We interviewed pedi Dr's before our baby was born to be sure we were comfortable. Feel free!
Hi A.,
Best wishes with the new addition. I too switched from MIT insurance and was looking up here. We use Childrens Medical Office in NorthAndover ###-###-####. I really like them and I was very unhappy leaving my pedi at MIT. I have found them to be just as good. They are affiliated with Children's Hospital in Boston not any local hospitals though. I prefer this since my kids doctors were already there and I was used to going into Cambridge anyway. Good luck!
