I am expecting my third child and want to find an ob/gyn that delivers out of Estrella Banner. I contacted my health insurance, all they gave me was a website that didn't help at all.I previously had my youngest child at Thunderbird and had a bad experience, I have been told that Banner Estrella was a great hospital.

My doctor was Dr. Mystie johnson at west valley women's care. Her practice (building) is physically connected to banner estrella hospital and I had a wonderful experience there when I had my son.
I can't believe I am telling you this......but....The experience that I had and the experience that I have seen are totally different. I am recommending Dr. Miles Howard he is in front on West Valley hospital in the medical building to the East, Second floor. I had a really bad experience with him and was very unhappy BUT......Two of my friends have had their children with him ( I have been there) and he was so nice and caring with them I was really impressed. My experience with him was I felt that he didn't want to attend to my special needs ( prior pre term labor). The way I felt was that he was not interested in the special needs that I may have. Plus he only called into the front desk to see if I wanted to go home then he discharged me, and didn't even come to see me or the baby. It is totally up to you, your experience may be as nice and as perfect as my friends have had but I wanted you to be aware of my situation.

I just had my first baby in January and I delivered at banner estrella. I had the most incredable ob and all the nurses and staff were so pleasant...it was a great experience! My ob's name is Dr.Rathee...LOVED HIM! He is out of Estrella woman's health center. If you need a contact number or have any other ques. feel free to write. Congrats on the new baby and good decision, banner is a great hospital! :)
Dr. Miles Howard is wonderful. He is the chief OB at West Valley but also delivers at Estrella. His office is on McDowell in front of the West Valley Hospital. I delivered at WV and loved it.

I delivered at Estrella in December, and it was a very good experience. I was worried because the neonatal unit is not a level 3(highest care) and I had been having a difficult experience. My baby was born a week early and stayed in the NICU for 6 days and I could not have been happier. My doctor, Dr. William Sun, I was not that thrilled with. I felt like he didn't even know who i was when I saw him, but you could try his partners. It is palm valley womens care. Yhey are in that medical building right to the east of west valley hospital. Hope this help
I know the ob/gyns at EStrella Womans health center on 103rd ave and Indian School delivers out of Banner Estrella and their # is ###-###-####. My ob was Dr Florian WAlter and he was excellent through the whole process. Hope this helps!!
P.s. Banner estrella is a great hospital to deliver at every one there is very friendly and always willing to help or answer any questions that you may have!

OH my gosh, i have to recommend misty johnson office. they are located in the builing on the west side of the hospital.my cousin is an labor and delivery nurse there too. i had a wonderful experience. misty was my main dr., but her husband who is also part of her practice delivered my son. misty delivered my cousin's three children too. if you want to call, i can probably dig up the info for you. but there office is in the building to the west side of the hospital off of thomas road. youjust walk in the double doors and they are on the left. ok, well email me at ____@____.com or ###-###-####
