I am looking for a good trustworthy ob/gyn in the Baylor Medical center in Grapevine that takes medicaid...I just moved here form Lubbock and recently have found myself pregnant. Does any one know Dr. Kilianski or Dr. Edward Clark? They were also suggested to me.

Hi M., Dr. Clark was my ob/gyn when I gave birth to my baby girl in 2005 at Baylor Grapevine. He also was my sister's ob/gyn when my sister gave birth in 2003. He is excellent and gentle and I believe he accepts medicaid. You may want to call his office and see. I believe I listed him in the directory.

I too used Dr. Julia Flowers for my last delivery and she is excellent. I had a "high risk" pregnancy and she was very attentive to my needs. She even arranged for a surgeon friend of hers to do the closing on my c-section since I had had an infection with my first childbirth and she didn't want that to happen again. She referred me to other specialists during my first & second trimesters to monitor my pregnancy when it was appropriate. Here are the downsides though: she's soooo popular that it's hard to get in to see her. Sometimes I had to wait well over an hour for my scheduled visit. They will not file on insurance if you have to have a Rhogham (sp?) shot because they don't get reimbursed enough for that so that's like $150 out of your pocket (or maybe more - I can't quite remember). My primary physician uses her and told me Dr. Flowers had excellent credentials (this is why I chose her for my last pregnancy) - top of her class at Harvard, University of California at Stanford (I think), Resident of the Year, etc., etc. I think her father is a Physician as well (not 100% sure about that). I don't have any clue if she accepts Medicaid though. Good luck!

I would recommend Dr. Angelo Mendez, I'm not sure if he takes your insurance though.

Dr. Ed Clark is great! He has a great bedside manner and is very well-trained. I've known a few women who've been his patients and have been pleased with the care he provided.

I was on Medicaid when I had my son last Dec. I called Baylor Grapevine to get a refferal for an OB/GYN that used Baylor and they told me they didn't have one listed. I found a great Dr just down the road, but she uses Harris HEB. Her name is Dr Barbara Webster and she is with The Womans Group. She also has an office in Southlake. Their # is ###-###-####. You may try them, they were great!

I don't know either of those doctors, but my doctor is Robert Wai, and I can't recommend him enough. He's very calming, very kind and very good. He really put me at ease throughout my pregnancy and (early) delivery. I don't know if he takes Medicaid or not.

Hi, I see Dr Kilianski & the number is ###-###-#### but he is in a practice with 4 other doc's-all males. Each has a nurse so you always get the same person on the phone if you have to call in for anything & she does all the weight/blood pressure/pee in a cup stuff. I mention that b/c I have never had a doc who had just one assistant & I really like that. My mom also goes to the practice & she sees Dr Gagnon. Dr White is who delivered my first baby as Dr K was not on call during that time & he was very nice. I can't think of the other doc's name but I know there is a 4th. They have 2 locations-one in Keller across from El Paseo on Keller parkway & one in Baylor at Grapevine. Two of my friends also see Dr Kilianski & one of them has endometriosis & has lots of issues so she has ended up crying on his shoulder more than once & he is good with emotional females! Hope all this helps!!

I go to Doctor Rebecca Robert at Comprehensive Women's Healthcare at Baylor Grapevine. I do not know if she takes medicaid. She is very nice, as are her nurse and nurse practioner. Her husband is also a pediatrician at the hospital. The number there is ###-###-####. Good luck and congratulations; I am also about to have my third.

Dr. Kilianski is my OBGYN and I just had my baby 6 months ago. He's great- very supportive and empathetic to your needs. He's also the OBGYN for several of my friends and they all love him. Not sure if he takes Medicaid though.
