Now Looking for PCP in Keller TX

They denied you for being 4 weeks pregnant? Did you have insurance prior to the blue cross insurance? When we first moved to TX, we had different insurance and I got preg while still under the other insurance. Blue Cross didn't take effect until Jan. '06, I was like 11 (or so) weeks preg and they accepted me and all of my charges. Granted, I didn't put that I had any existing conditions on the paperwork, but it wouldn't have been to hard for them to figure it out! Sorry that you are going through all of that! I think I just met you at Cooks Children's today in Keller! I suggested Dr. Maurice Gagnon who is also at North Texas Womens Healthcare. I have seen Dr. Kilianski and White and a couple of others in this office. They are great! Several people have already responded with other Docotrs in this office. They deliver at Baylor Grapevine and have an office there as well.

I dont have any advice on any obgyn or pediatrician near Keller. I just wanted to say Hello and welcome to Texas. I to am from Alamogordo NM. I was born and lived there until I was 7 years old. My son's name is Tristan William. Well I had the best Doctor in the world her name was Mickey Hooper. She is in Keller. I had a real bad case of Gestational Diabeties. We both almost died. I would have been dead if it wern't for Dr. Hooper. You should check her out. She has a website. http://www.dochooper.com/ If I ever have another child I will travel miles to go to her.

I am about 5 months pregnant and I am also new in the area and on medicaid...the doctor I just located that happily takes medicaid and is in our area is Dr. Kilianski, he is apart of the North Texas Women's Associates at Baylor Medical in Grapevine and I believe he has an office in Keller...his # is ###-###-####. Call immediately because they often fill their quota of medicaid patients fast. Good Luck! Oh yeah, there is one more doctor that I know of that takes medicaid also his name is Dr. Edward Clark and he is also at Baylor...I believe his # is ###-###-####.

Dr. Rhodesia Lastrap or Dr. Karla Hick in North Richland Hills are excellent. Dr. Lastrap was my actual Dr. with both of my children but they work in the same office and have each delivered one of my kids. I would highly recommend these ladies.
