I am looking for a good play group for my 16 mnth old son. He (and I) both need to get out! I don't know of any in the area. Any suggestions are appreciated.
I'm new to the area too and have a 15 month old son. I'd be happy to get together at a park, the zoo, ect if you want. Let me know!

Have you gotten any response yet? I am looking for the same thing! I have a 18 month old baby girl and I am a stay at home mom. We also just moved to San Antonio last November and I still hardly know anybody. I need to get out too but I also would like to talk to somebody over 2 years old besides my husband...:-)

Westover Hills Assembly of God has a MOPS group that meets 2 Fridays a month. It is for you and your child. Also they have a Mothers Day Out if that is what you are looking for. Calvary Hills Baptist Church also has a mothers day out Program. I have attended both of these churches, but only sent my child to the one at Calvary Hills. It was great! I have met a lot of the moms from Westover and they seem wonderful.
Check out momsclub.org. They will get you connected with your local MOMS (Moms Offering Moms Support) Club which has playgroups and lots of activities.
