I am looking for a preschool for my child a couple days a week 1/2 days. Looking for a conveniently located preschool, not a daycare facility.

Trinity Baptist at 36 and Edgerton is great. It is religious but mostly just a play-based preschool. The teachers are very professional, they have an excellent program. They have class for 2.5 hours two days a week with an optional third day for 4 year olds.
If you don't mind a christian based preschool, check the local churches.
We are going to be going to Stepping Stones this fall. this will be my son's first year in preschool. A few of my neighbors have sent their children there and had a positive experience, so we thought we would give it a try.

Liberty Classical Academy has a pre-school program on their upper school campus, at C and Hazelwood. It is two mornings a week for 3 year olds and 3 mornings a week for 4/5 year olds.

Check out Stepping Stones. The last I checked, they still had openings left for the DEC (District Education Center) It's part of the high school on right on 36. My 6 yr old went there for two years,he loved preschool there, and really learned a lot. ###-###-####, it's the ECFE phone# but they also handle the stpping Stones program.
