Looking for Tracy Playgroups

Hi K.,

I have 15.5 month old twin girls. We go to Mommy and Me on Wednesday evenings @ 5:30. We meet at this two story building on 10th street downtown across from TrueValue Hardware.

When the weather is nice, my girls and I go to Lincoln Park (East/Eaton Ave) where the Library is. I live right near the park which has swings for infants and little ones, then one or two slides and climbing things.

I am also part of the twins club in town.

Oh, there is the MOPS club. They meet at the Southwinds church which, I think, is at West High School and they meet at St Pauls church off Lowell and Chester.

Rowena and I are in the same Mommy and Me group on Wednesday evenings.

Did you check out Tracy Mothers' CLub? Also, there's a Mommy & Me playgroup that meets on Tu mornings and Wed. evenings. Let me know if interested in getting the info--just email me. I'm involved with both and they're great play time for my 20-mo old son.

I live in tracy too, I am brand new here from the Bay Area, San Jose....
Have you ever heard of Meetup.com? They have local groups in this area. I have joined 2 so far....I have not went to any of the activities yet, because I have been so busy, but i do plan on going soon. They have one activity on Fridays called Stroller Strides that I am planning on. Check em out and let me know if you have any questions. :)

If he walks you and him can play at the tumble class here in town. Miss Hiedi runs it and she is the sweetest lady. My daughter went there for two years before she started Pre-School. It is right off of Industrial rd between Holly and Tracy blvd. I think it is called power tumble. Once you turn off of Larch road on Industrial go all the way backand to the right. There are a bunch of businesses in there she is all the way back. At first you have to really watch the little ones in there. They have huge trampolines and a ball pit and a swing that zipped across the building. They do have stuff for the kids at the parks and Rec. Oh, and it is 10-12 every Wed.for tumble class. The parks here are great places to meet other Moms. My daughter has tons of energy so I have to take her to the park just about everyday for a few hours. We also have a Mops class at Grace Baptist. The people are so inviting and so helpful. It's like having an extented family. Pastor Jo and Amy his wife have been there 4 or 5 months with a son 1 year old and twins 4 years old. They are 32 ish. I do invite you to stop by. They are the most down to earth and sweetest people. Good luck.
