Hi A.,
Have you thought of signing your little one up for Soccer Tots or a community t-ball team?
I'm a Mom of a little 3 year old boy and would love to set up a play date if we didn't live so far away.
Hey ladies...I am a Mom to a wonderful(almost) 4 year old boy...I have been lucky enough to stay home with him.....I feel though that he hasn't been able to make friends because he is so much my "sidekick" as I call him ;-)...I am so not the "mom" that will be at the park trying to arrange "playdates"...but I do want him to have friends..he loves interacting with other kids at Chuck E. Cheese...or the park or wherever...I am afraid it is me because I am just not the type to set up a playdate. I am 30, however most of my friends are younger and childless..their prioities seem to be with going out in uptownor going to the coolest bar..Ahhh.. I would just like to meet some Moms that can relate to me and that our kids can play togehther....We are a christian household, but have yet to join a church because my husband works nights and it's just hard to get everyone up on Sunday morning and go to church,,,I would love some interaction with other moms as well as some friends for my son...we live right by the Galleria...if anyone is interested in getting our kids together or having a "mommy group" let me know...
Thank you to all of the Mom's and their help...I will be contacting everyone who responded and hopefully we can have some playdates!!!! Thanks again..I am looking forward to meeting everyone!!

Our group Mothers & More would be a great fit for you. Check us out at www.mothersandmore.org I am the regional manager and we have two chapters in the DFW area. One Greater Lewisville that covers from Little Elm, Plano, Denton, Carrollton, Farmers Branch, The Colony, Lewisville, Flower Mound, Corinth, Denton, Lantana and even a few others. Our local website is www.greaterlewisvillemothersandmore.org There is also a mid cities chapter that covers HEB, Grapevine, Arlington area. I dont have their website memorized, but there is a link from the national site. We are all about the mom. We have kids ranging from 13 years to as little as 3 mo. We offer a multitude of outings and activites, as well as a GREAT email loop where no question is off limits. Check us out, we would love to have you join us!

Soccer Tots is a great idea. My daughter just turned 3 and has always been home with us or watched by her grandparents. She loves getting toether with the other kids! Check out their website!
Have you looked into MOPS (mother's of preschoolers) or an Early Childhood PTA in your area? There's also the MOMS Club that has chapters around. Go to a local park and you'll run into other moms. It's easy to strike up a conversation about the kids. Go to the Galleria early in the morning with the mall walkers and see if there's other moms there working out with kids. Call local churches to see about Mother's Day Out programs or bible studies for you with child care available. Our church in Plano has an exercise class 2 days a week that's open to anybody. Maybe look for that in a local church. Look at a gym like ASI gymnastics that might have a 4 yo program. Take him to the library for story time.
I have an almost 4 yo boy and he was getting bored at home so I sent him to preschool 2 days a week. He loves it and always asks to go on nonschools days.
We livein Frisco... but would be interested sometimes getting together (busy summer / travel schedule) . --D.

Hey A., I have a little boy that turned 4 in February, and he would love to play. I'm like you, I'm terrible at setting up play dates, but I want him to socialize. I live in Allen, but I work near the Galleria. If you were interested in setting something up, let me know!
