My three year old gets a small cup of ice cream for when she poops on the potty. So of course, she does it when we are out of ice cream. So she comes out of the bathroom singing and dancing, 'I pooped on the paaaahty on the poooty. Hey where's my ice cream?"
So off to the store we went. I let her put the ice cream on the conveyor belt, and a older gentleman asks her if he could have some (jokingly) and my lovely daughter asks, "Did you poop on the potty too?" then breaks out into song and dance again. "I pooped on the pahhhhtttty"
To top it off, after these people stopped laughing, they took FOREVER. I was letting my daughter count the cadbury eggs on a small round bin, that was a couple of feet away. Then she got into a game, she would grab one and I would tell her that was the wrong one. Then she would giggle and put it back and bring me another one.
What I didn't expect (stupid of me) was for her to unwrap one, pop the whole thing in her mouth, decide she didn't like it and spit it out. Sigh...This is all five minutes after we just had the, "You can't eat it till we buy it." Conversation.
