They're right about the bump on the eyeball - caused by wind. It's either on part that's nasal or on the outter corner of the eye. It gets red and irritated because it's dry. Dryness caused that part to get that way. Usually when it's not that bad - they called it a pinguecula. After a while it turned into a thicker mass called pterygium and you can have it remove and it's paid for by her medical insurance. Actually she can have it remove whenever she wants.
