We are in the process of moving to Peters Township and I need to find a Pediatrician for my boys (prefer male dr.) and a General Practioner for the family. If you have any references please let me know.

Thank you all for your suggestions. Dr.Taylor and Dr. Frac have been recommended by two of my previous Dr's. once we make the decision I will let you know. Plus if any of you have suggestions for a hair salon let me know,would prefer one with multiple services, ie.highlights, waxing, maicure, etc.

We got to Pediatric South..the Mt. Lebanon location...My son has special needs and my daughter was premature, they have always been so helpful and friendly to us. They're quick to return calls and their advice has always worked out wonderfully for us!!!
I use Pediatrics South. Dr Tyson is here and at the Mt. Lebanon location. I use Dr Tera Faust and Sara, the nurse practitioner. They are all wonderful. They always get back to me really fast. I highly recommend them. (And check out Creative Dinners next to the Peters office. I always stop in the get a few meals when I go to the peds.)
We go to Children's Community Health by South Hills Village Mall. We see Dr. Michael Frac and we LOVE him. He is an excellent physician. Very patient, warm and a father of four. We can always get last minute sick appointments. They also have a call in hour every morning from 8 to 9am. You can speak directly to a doctor and ask your question. ###-###-####.

I agree with Beth...Pediatric South...Dr Scott Tyson. I love this man. What a fantatic pediatrican. I can't express how well we like this practice and refer many people to them.
I see Dr. Natalie Furlong in Bethel Park - Mercy Smart Health building on Higbee Drvive sort of Behind Walmart and Giant Eagle. I have only been going there since April, but so far I don't have any complaints with the practice.
I take my kids to Pediatric South on Mt. Lebanon Blvd in Mt. Lebanon. There are a handful of doctors there. While I take my kids to Dr. Ascherman (female) we've seen Dr. Tyson and liked him. I like the office staff as well. Usually don't have to wait long. No complaints.
We live in Peters and use Pediatrics South on Rte. 19. The number is ###-###-#### and they even have a web site to request appointments, download forms, etc. It's www.pediatricssouth.com
Dr. Scott Tyson is the head of the practice (it was originally his fathers' practice). He is the only male dr at this location and we really like him. They've been absolutely wonderful for our 4 kids.
As for a general practitioner, we use Family Practice Medical Assoc. South in USC. Do you know where Summerfield Commons is? If not, it's at the intersection with 19 and Boyce Rd. Their number is ###-###-#### and they've been very accomodating. They're close and convienient. I see Dawn Sarver and she's been really great. Very understanding and patient, which some general practicioners lack.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Pediatric Alliance. Dr Ketyer is my favorite. He is fantastic with my boys, and so is Dr O'Toole. They have a location in Bridgeville and one in Peters Township. Several of my friends go there and are all happy. Call ###-###-#### and that number will connect you with either office. I can't say enough good things about them. Great group! Evening and weekend hours too.
