I highly recommend the Gurtner Dental practice in Mt. Lebanon. They are awesom, husband and wife team - he andles the adults, and she takes the kids (her name is Dr. M. - maybe it's fate LOL). Where in Pittsburgh are you located? If you're in the South Hills, I have a great dentist. He's located in McMurray on Route 19. His name is Michael Hnat. He is absolutely wonderful. He was my childhood dentist and just recently opened his own practice again in my neighborhood. Everyone in the office is so nice as well. The make you feel so comfortable. I referred him to a friend of mine last year. Her husband absolutely hates going to the dentist and usually never returns after his initial visit. He actually continued to return to Dr. Hnat after his first visit. If you're interested his number is ###-###-####.

If you are in the South Hills, McMurray area, I recommend Valleybrook Family Dental. It's in the same shopping center as Radicchio's. I absolutely HATE the dentist, and usually like someone already wrote, quit going after a couple visits because I feel dentists are condescending jerks to whose expectations one can never live. I have never felt that way here! I have been completely happy with them. The Hygienists are nice, and the dentist is personable. they are all gentle and are very understanding when they have a patient like myself who tries their patience. LOL. Hope you find a good one!

Not sure what side of pittsburgh you are living or in town.
If you are out West near the airport or near Beaver County I have 2 friends that are great dentists. Dr. Tim Dornin, is in Moon Twp. Dr. Greg Jovanelly is in Aliquippa.
If you need a pediatric dentist, M. Gurtner is great! If you need just a regular dentist, her husband Steve Gurtner is great also!! They both share a practice in Mount Lebanon. The practice is very friendly and always on time. I never have to sit with my son in the waiting room at all. Usually the second we walk in they are ready for him. I love going there!! They make you feel very comfortable. They do multiple things there too. They do cosmetic dentistry too which is nice :) The practice is called Gurtner Dental on Cochran Road in Mt. Lebanon.
