if you "wear" your baby they stay pretty enertained with whatever it is you are doing. i find it is a great way to keep the babe happy :)
Does anyone have advice on how to keep my 3 month old baby girl "entertained". We talk, I put her in her swing, her bouncy chair and give her tummy time. I am just looking for other ways to keep her entertained. Thanks.

Don't worry about the "entertained" need. 3month old babies are learning cause and effect, their body movements and so on... let her lay on the floor with blankets and look at toys... sometimes "we" as parents are a little too ready to entertain or stimulate learning. Sounds like your doing enough.
Put her in a sling, bjorn or backpack and just go about your day. I cooked, did dishes and other household chores while the baby checked out what I was doing. Both my girls (now 5 and 9) spent many happy hours this way.
At 3 months, babies don't need so much "play" as attention from you. Around that time, we got one of those activity gyms. Our son loved looking at the toys. It motivated him to try to reach and grab for them. You can try music CDs also. While too young to understand, you could try peek-a-boo and see if that amuses her. I think it was around 3 months that my son started grabbing for toys, so you can try rattles, etc.
Probably one of the best entertainments for our child was a walk. It doesn't have to be long, even a trip around the block is nice. I would point things out and he would just relax and look.
I think those months from about 3-6 months, or before they really start to crawl - those were the hardest for me. I found it really boring, actually. I sound horrid, I know, but a baby cannot do much at that age, they are starting to stay up a tiny bit longer, and I was beat! I would actually look forward to nursing, so I had something to do!
B., Have you tried putting your baby on her tummy in front of a mirror? I also used to put each of my girls on their tummies on a blanket, then just out of reach I'd put an open book and a toy or two. I miss those years and my girls are only 8, 10 and 12. Enjoy! J.
My little one loves a nice massage. I sing to her while I massage her arms and legs. I also help her kick and strech.
She loves to hear me recite nursery rhymes and silly songs.
Charlotte Diamond has some great CDs with funn songs for children.
I use this play thing at BabyCenter.com. I get there emails each week and it almost always gives you two play ideas that help the babies development and entertains them.
Have fun!
