I was lucky and didn't have the mood swings on clomid, but didn't have any success either. I had better luck with letrozol (sp). My ferility specialist has had better results with less multiples. Ask ur dr. About it! Good luck.

I had mood swings too. And some weight gain, but that was it. No big deal. I would have tried it again if the doctors thought it would have helped me. Didn't work for me, my egges are prematurely old! Good Luck to you, I have had friends that have had success with it.
I used clomid with both of my pregnancies. The first one it took me three months to get pregnant, and I had a baby girl. The next time, it took me two months, and I had twins. Now don't panic, my twins are identical and the clomid had no bearing on them.
As for side effects. I had severe mood swings. I mean SEVERE. I could feel the mood swing begin. I also got hot flashes and headaches. When I look back, and you ask either myself or my husband, "Would you do it again?" Our answer, "OH, HECK YES!"
The outcome, way outweighs any side effects. Good luck and if you need any more help, just drop me a line. Thinking baby thoughts for you!

I used clomid and hated it. I had mood swings, hot flashed, stomach problems, I had it all. My hubby said I had PMS 24-7. I took it for 6 months (not in a roll) and it didn't work. I then went onto femera, I had no side effects and I got pregnant the first month.
Good luck I know how emotional all this can be.
