Hey all, I was wondering if this is even possible or am i just CRAZY!!
I had a vaginal hysterectomy in Nov (2011) recently i have felt like i am pregnant. Excessive tiredness, food cravings, muscle weekness, and my nipples are sore as heck. I dont understand it, i know you go thru changes after having one, but is this normal. Could i be actually prgnant? Has anyone had this happen to them or felt this way after having one?

What can I do next?

I would say no, but if the fallopian tubes are still there and didn't get shut off correctly, maybe? I don't really know, but its so odd. I also know that menopause type symptoms can also feel like pregnancy...maye take a test and/or call your ob.

Without a uterus, you cannot have a real pregnancy. If you still have at least one ovary and one fallopian tube, I suppose it's possible that you have a tubal pregnancy. If that's the case, you'll need to see a doctor before the tube bursts. How about a home pregnancy test?

Or this is for April Fool's Day.

ETA: I just looked at Bug's link, which basically says what I just said above. So, I think a doctor's visit is in order.

Did you have a total hysterectomy or a partial? If you have your ovaries and fallopian tubes then I guess it could be possible, but not likely. You may be experiencing hormone changes.

Or you are playing an April’s fool’s joke.

If you are pregnant - you would be the first W. to conceive without her parts..You cannot get pregnant after you've had a hysterectomy.

I would contact my doctor and tell them exactly what you are feeling - you may have to go in for a blood draw and see what your hormones are doing.

Sounds like a menopausal symptom. It's hormones. Talk to your doc or go the herbal route to alleviate symptoms. Black Cohosh... try it.

If you still have ovaries, your hormones can still fluctuate causing all of those symptoms.
