Hi T.,
My boys both went to the Roselle Park District - which they loved (and so did I). Pre-school is a great way to get kids more socially ready for school and help them with fine motor skills (scissors, writing, etc.). The teachers did a great job, my kids made many new friends (and so did I).

We are in the roselle park district preschool. It is great. We are going to the Bloomingdale Park district next year. I have only heard great things about the program. Try those out.

Hi T.,

I can recommend a great preschool program in Roselle. My children (now 10 and 8) attend Trinity Lutheran School in Roselle. They been attending since 3-year-old preschool. Ironically, we never planned for our kids to attend a Christian school, but fell in love with Trinity while they were in the preschool program and we're still here! The school goes up to 8th grade. The teachers are amazing--so caring and loving. The school values and philosophy are awesome. I am thankful every day for the blessing of the Trinity "family" and wholeheartedly recommend you check it out. The principal is Ed Bower and the school also have a new preschool teacher that also meets with new families. Her name is Carrie Zielke. Her husband, Phil, is my daughter's 4th grade teacher. You could make an appointment with either of them. The address is 405 S. Rush St., Roselle, 630/894-3263, www.trinityroselle.com. You can tell them that I recommended you check it out (my name is K. Kopitke. If you have any questions, feel free to give me a call at 847/781-0749. One last thing, just to tell you how awesome people think the school is, we have families that come from all over the area. Some drive 45-60 minutes each way to get to Trinity.

Hope that helps. Good luck!

My daughter has been attending KinderCare since she was an infant and is now in the preschool program there. They are wonderful! The director Liz and asst. director Deb are very open and easy to speak with. All of the teachers I have encountered are just wonderful. My only complaint is the additional programs are a little on the expensive side. My dd is in Music & Me. It is $50 a month for 4 classes. However, they do get cds, books and instruments so maybe the price isn't bad when you include everything. They are located on Nerge between Meacham and Plum Grove in Roselle. Please let me know if you have additional questions. I would be happy to answer them.
You can go to the Kindercare website and I believe they may have a free day coupon you can use.

Hi T.. I know there is a Kindercare right on Lake St (east of Gary Ave). I also live in the Roselle area and have a 4 week old daughter. Do you know of any good at-home daycare that would take a newborn?
Thanks, L.

The Roselle Park District preschool is excellent!! Miss Diane is a wonderful teacher and the program is great. I saw my son's self-confidence soar. His writing skills improved and he learned so much. He loved going to school and never complained. My son met some great friends there too.

I know that the Roselle park district has a pre-school program for 4 year olds. Itasca also have a program for 3 and 4 yr olds. There is also another place in Itasca where alot of people are sending their children for pre-school, it is called St. Luke's.

Hope that helps.
