Hi,
I am in desperate need of a good bakery in the Coppell area to bake my son's birthday cake. I am familar with bakeries in Dallas, but am trying to find something closer to home. His theme is Thomas the Train and I would like a Thomas the Train cake. Also, I just ditched my plans to make the cake myself and so I need a bakery that has a fast turnaround time (need the cake by Saturday a.m., Nov. 11). I would love to hear your recommendations.

Well I have allways used sam's club for my kids b-day cakes they have different sizes and characters also there very good at time frames just depends when you order normally its next day and I like the prices too way lower than others and they look great .GOOD LUCK .
I had my son's Thomas birthday in October and Super Target made the cake (here in Flower Mound) and it was so cute and tasted great. They have quick turnaround times too! Good luck!

I think Kroger or Target did the cake for a friend of mine's son. It was a Thomas theme cake and had a wind up Thomas on the top that went around a track. We used the Kroger on Sandy Lake and Macarthur last year for our ds' 1st and they did a good job too. We opted for the truck theme and ds loved it.
I have been to 2 birthday parties in the past month where the cakes were from Super Target and they were GREAT. We were all raving about the last one with a Baby Einstein themed cake.
