Well you don't solicit donations here on MP.
However, many members here have good advice... Goodwill, Craigslist, Freecycle, Salvation Army, yard sales, churches, contact your local community service outreach, etc.
Craigs list and maybe your church?? Garage sales? I have found LOTS of unused baby stuff at garage sales...
let ppl know on fb too your still in need of a high chair, crib or what ever it is your needing. you really dont need much. take what you can get with the understanding they arent getting returned items. garage sell what you dont need and hit up other garage sales for things you do need. you wont need much!
What items are you looking for? I would think that since you could have the baby within the next 10 days you would already have most of what you need.
You can usually purchase items of good quality for great prices at yard sales and church bazzars. You may want to keep this in mind in the future.
For right now, your best bet is freecycle.
Try putting an ad on Craigslist locally. Talk to your church and don't be embarrassed to ask friends who have older children if they have anything they can share with you.
I drop things off all the time at the Oakland County Shelter in Southfield. Not sure how they distribute, but check those kinds of places
It won't help a lot, but pg.com is proctor and gamble's website - you can sign up for free samples and coupons. This includes diapers and baby lotions and shampoo (it used to, anyway - my youngest is almost four now, so things might have changed). It's just a sample, but it's something, and even just a little bit of baby shampoo goes a long way. If nothing else, the coupons might help (you can sign up for samples and coupons for products for you, too).
Check out the other diaper company websites, too. They might do something similar. If nothing else, getting samples of the different diapers will make it easier (and cheaper!) to find the diaper that works best for your baby.
Also, see if you can find a Pregnancy Resource Center in your area. I thought all that they did was to help women find alternatives to abortion, but I didn't realize that part of that is helping expectant and new moms get the material supplies they need to care for their babies. If they can't supply you with what you need, they probably have resources to help you find it in your area. If a quick google search doesn't bring them up, call any local church - they will refer you to them or a similar group.
FB is a great idea, I joined a Mom's Exchange in my area through it & we exchange all sorts of items. We have even arranged drop off's & pick up's btwn group members for people who live in further areas. Good luck!
church rummage sales. Call social services and see if they can direct you.
