Seeking Chiropractor in Natick, Framingham, Southborough, or Westborough

I am looking for a chiropractor (preferably also with massage services). I would love a female doctor, but will go with a highly recommended male. I would prefer a chiropractor who is not high pressure and won't keep pushing a one year contract or lots of herbal remedies. I just want someone to whom I can go when I need adjusting. I don't have the time or money to go to a high pressure individual who insists I come regularly for up to a year.

What can I do next?

Hi there,
I use a family chiropractor for me and my 22 month daughter in Westwood. I do know they have wellness plans. It is a very nice environment, and they do have a husband wife working together.
It is located at 1446 High Street off 109. I live in Natick and go through south Natick to get there takes about 15 minutes. You can look up the website on line.

I see Dr. Jennifer Belesi at Cedar Chiropractic in Hopkinton, although she is moving her practice to Westborough. She is wonderful. Aside from being very nice and professional, she has flexible hours and is not pushy at all. I've been seeing her since the birth of my second son left me with lower back pain and she has been a great help. (And no herbal remedies or contracts). Her site is www.cedarchiro.com.

Hi R., my recommendation would have to be Walter Pisecki on Union St. (rt 135) in Ashland. We have gone to him for many, many years and I have to say he is the best. He's very laid back and will not pressure you in any way to keep coming back. He doesn't sell herbs or supplements, just gives a good adjustment along with e-stim and/or deep heat massage if needed.

We have used Jim Lynch at Back In Motion Chiropractic in Northboro (Main Street/Route 20) for about 10 years, for both of us as well as our son. He uses applied kinesiology, which is gentle adjustment and does not involve cracking or the "pop and pray" approach. He was recommended by several friends. He has a book of patient testimonials in his waiting room. His philosophy is that, if you have not made significant improvement in 3-5 visits, then HE'S doing something wrong. Obviously, some people with serious problems take more time, but there should definitely be measurable improvement. For example, my husband recently had a series of visits after a car crash in which he was rear-ended and suffered whiplash. THis took more than 3-5 visits to fix, BUT he was seeing improvement. We have often gone in for a one-visit "tune-up" and he doesn't force more visits on anyone. He is sympathetic to costs and insurance too. Even if we haven't been back in a long time, he is always welcoming and warm - never chastises us. Just happy to do the work we need.

I think he might have a massage therapist - you would have to check with him. We haven't used this service. I do know of a husband-wife massage team in Shrewsbury just over the border from Westboro if you need that.

Good luck.

Hands down - best one i've been to:

Dr. Jeffrey Schlaffer
Chiropractic Office
223 Walnut Street
Framingham, MA 01702
###-###-####
Tues, Thurs, Sat hours only

He shares an office with another Chiropractor. Their office is being remodeled...but you can leave a message and he will call you back. He has a very nice laid-back style, isn't as aggressive as my last guy. I was an athlete - and he treats many 'adult athletes'. He was wonderful during my pregnancy as well - and everyone i have sent has continued to see him. One friend even worked an appt to see him into her trip back East after moving to the West Coast?!

Good luck!
