I am looking for someone (preferably, college age or so) that teaches swim lessons. Does anyone know of anyone in our area that gives private swim lessons for children? Have you had this person teach your children and was he/she good?
The Richmond Hill Swim Club opened back up. They are located next to Beef O'Brady's. I took my son there last year and the fee was around $45.
The Chatham County Aquatic center is offering classes for children. There is a fee but I'm not sure how much. I just took swim lessons there and now I know how to swim (a little). Also check the JEA (I believe its the Jewish Alliance Center) on Abercorn St.
In know that Chatham Aquatic Center offers swimming lessons for children of all ages (http://www.chathamcounty.org/pwps_aquatic.html). Bryan county may have something similar if you'd rather be closer to home. Otherwise,if you have a local pool, you might be able to go speak to some of the lifeguards to see if they know of anyone of if they, themselves would be willing to give lessons.
