My mom friends are looking for an easy (but secure) shared calendar to organize car pool duties for a school team. I've used yahoo in the past but everyone needs a yahoo email address to log in.
We've also used "Lotsa Helping Hands" but it is difficult to use on mobile phones.
Anyone found anything that works for your village? Thanks! .

I have 2 suggestions for you...first is google calendar. You can limit the people who can see the calendar and it syncs with most cell phone calendars or can be accessed using a mobile phone with internet capability.
The other is officezilla.com you can use this to set up a calendar, organize contact information and more. A free online service that might just do the trick.
Gmail
You all get a Gmail account, for e-mail etc., AND they have a "calendar" too, which you can share or not.
Then all will get this shared calendar.
Easy.
we use the shared folder in our outlook email, but we have outlook at work. It's very easy to access and use.
Google calendar Hands down!
You can limit the people who can see the calendar and it syncs with most cell phone calendars or can be accessed using a mobile phone with internet capability. I'ts wonderful : )
I haven't used it for a car pool, but I love the Cozi calendar for our family. It can be accessed on phones and computer, but anyone with the name and password. You can register multiple emails with one shared password. It will even send text and email reminders to anyone tagged on a specific event.
Google Calendar - my block uses it for playgroup/book club/etc. Easy for everyone and accessible.
