I buy a vinyl one and cut it in half. Store the other half in the closet and pull it out for use when the other one looks worn. Two for the price of one!
We just remodeled a bathroom we had never used much. It has a shower stall only (no bathtub). Pretty narrow opening, a little over 30".
For other people that have shower stalls - do you use a full-size shower curtain, or do they make ones that are more narrow for stalls? If they do, I haven't seen them. I've checked Bed Bath, Target, et. They are all around 72"

Working off memory here, but I think we found a smaller one at Walmart?!?
I've seen them, but I don't remember where! I notice that Bed, Bath and Beyond has shower stall curtains measuring 78" x 54". You want more curtain width than width of opening. Or you might try J. C. Penney online; they seem to have a lot of options. Or IKEA. Or a vinyl curtain you can cut down to the proper size. A neighbor long ago once used a narrow curtain panel combined with a liner. I don't know how she put the grommets in, though.
We just folded ours in half. You can also cut it down to size.
We have two shower stalls with curtains. I just bought the standard size, fabric curtain with a plastic liner, both from Target. I think they look nice because they are fuller rather than hanging like a flat sheet or panel.
We used a full size curtain for our standing shower. We have 2 curtains (decorative plus liner) and it actually looks nice especially if the pattern isn't too busy. We have vertical stripes and it actually seems to give some height to such a small bathroom.
Here you go - these are 36" wide:
Funny - I KNOW they make them as I have seen them in gyms and camp grounds that use narrow stalls....
however, doing a quick search on bed bath and beyond as well as ebay...nothing...
so I would say "special order" or cut a plastic liner to fit....
You could check out Etsy.com. Lots of custom shower curtain makers there.
I have seen them in the past but it is cheaper to just cut a regular shower curtain in half. I used to do that in one of my homes and then when the curtain started looking bad I would put the other half in. I only used the vinyl curtains there not the cloth ones.
I had a narrow shower stall and couldn't find a narrow curtain. I made my own. I bought heavy duty vinyl fabric at the fabric store. Turned the top over until it was the right length and put in grommets also bought at the fabric store.
You can also cut a full sized one down to size.
